Quantitative structure-activity relationships (QSAR) have played an important role in the design of pharmaceuticals and agrochemicals. In QSAR, variation in biological activities are statistically analyzed using descriptors related to structural properties of compounds. In this lecture, QSAR methods and applications are explained.
